Protect yourself from scams by meeting in-person at a safe public location (preferably at a FFL for the state-required background check) or using an escrow service. Especially beware of sellers promising to ship after being paid via cryptocurrency, Venmo, etc. If you buy from a seller that wants to ship, have them ship to a reputable local FFL that will inspect the item before you pay. BE SAFE!
